Tony, Cory and Leslie met up to brainstorm some ideas for a new Danger Project!

Some close contenders for the fairy tale to be told were: Hansel and Gretel, 3 Billy Goats Gruff, The wolf and the 7 kids, and the cow jumped over the moon. But it will NOT be any of those...

It will be ONE of these though:

This is the first of many blogs! Just got this site up and running, its a rough one but we'll work on it and keep it going strong! First we made it to facebook page, then twitter now a website! We're excited, we hope to keep putting up May Can's latest news and some fun stuff up here whenever we can.

Mado Boyes-Manseau and Emily Carvell are official associates of May Can now!

Cory and Tony just finished up acting in Emily Carvell's first time directing!

Got to act with the lovely Lily Sutherland! Photo by Kaitlynne-Rae Landry

Now we're in a sort of writing/planning stage. Hopefully BYOVing a new show at the Ottawa fringe, doing a small tour across Canada with Wolves>boys, and a Danger Project 3 in the works?

Touring company May Can Theatre is looking for local actors/performers/improvisers (or people who are naturally very very happy) to participate in a their upcoming Winnipeg Fringe production of Happiness™.

The role of HPL recruit involves audience participation, demonstrating products, improv, and mostly you just get to be very very happy, like the happiest version of you.

We're offering a modest honorarium and the opportunity to fire a confetti canon - not as part of the show, but we have some on hand!

We have 10 performance scheduled between July 15th and 26th at the Rudolf Rocker Cultural Centre. Ideally, are hoping to find 2 people who are available to the entire run or two teams of 2 people to split the run between them. Here is the list of the performance dates/times, we’d ask you to be available an hour before performance. Your participation would include the pre-show and the first five minutes of the performance - after that you’d be free to stick around to see the show or head out.

July 15 @ 9:15pm

July 16 @ 8:15pm

July 17 @ 11:45pm

July 18 @ 5:15pm
